Artist's Description
A small white building (buttery) with a conical roof is nestled among lush green trees in a serene setting. A winding path leads to the structure, bordered by a white picket fence, evoking a sense of peaceful rural life. The home, constructed of New Brunswick quarried sandstone, and the Buttery are situated on eleven acres on the banks of the St. John River in Fredericton and is considered a significant cultural landmark in the city.
